Oral Health at Family Health Program in BahiaKeywords: Family Health Program , Oral health , Professional Practice Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the process of integration of Oral Health Teams in the Family Health Program in a city of Bahia with a population less than twenty thousand people, order to understand the knowledge and practices that guide the work process of these professionals and identify the available infrastructure. The target population of research was done by dentists and health managers of the city. Interviews were carried out guided by a semi-structured roadmap. The main results were: female predominance, the majority of respondents are experts, noting the lack of relationship between that course and public health; profile directed to clinical activity and low accuracy for the solving cases. Reports have shown some limitations to know about the process of inclusion and operation of Dentistry at the Family Health Strategy. The results show that there is need to motivate them to redirect their practices, investing in continuing education and monitoring and evaluation of developed actions.
