Advanced life support and new guidelines of the american heart association 2010: a bibliographical surveyKeywords: cardiac arrest , advanced life support , new guidelines from the American Heart Association 2010 . Abstract: This study deals with a review of literature on the topic "Analysis of advanced life support and the new guidelines of the American Heart Association 2010." The application of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) involves a multidisciplinary team trained, so the American Heart Association (AHA), always upgrade to a support offering that guarantees victims a greater chance of survival. Objective: To discuss the evaluation of knowledge about the advanced life support and identification of the major changes with the new AHA Guidelines 2010. Methodology: This is adescriptive literature review. The studies were organized into three groups: 1) Types of study 2) Errors in advanced life support 3) Changes to the new 2010 guidelines. Results and discussion: After analyzing the articles noted that are essential activities in health education, since the deficiency in the Advanced Life Support in Cardiology (ACLS) was evident in 100% of the articles that reported the level of staff training health. Conclusion: With the new guidelines from the AHA 2010, new emphases are portrayed in ACLS demonstrating the need for continuous training that should be offered to healthcareprofessionals.
