Structural organization of the social representations to care

It was aimed, in this study, to identify the social representations of the care, starting from the determination of the central nucleus and peripheral system. One hundred diabetics had been part of the research, registered in a Basic Unit of Health of Jequié-BA. Evocations free from words were collected produced starting from stimulate inductor - to take care of somebody. The results had evidenced that the structure of the social representations of the care has as central element the affective aspects and as peripheral system, cognitive elements. It was concluded that for the diabetics the affective attributes are indispensable to the practical of the care.
