FILOSOFIA, CORPO E ARTE: Um Convite à Conversa o

Trata-se, com este texto, de apresentar alguns momentos da abordagem do tema do corpo pelo discurso filosófico. Se, por um lado, faz-se observar, aqui, que a Filosofia surge do desejo de transcender a contingência e a limita o do que por ele é apreendido, por outro, é igualmente correto reconhecer que novos momentos desse grande campo de reflex es permitem que se flagre um retorno do corpo, cuja relevancia, de início, fora recalcada. Com base em uma perspectiva mais contemporanea, a saber, o pragmatismo de Richard Shusterman, sugere-se, por fim, a possibilidade de o corpo assumir papel organico e emancipatório no projeto de uma estética da existência.This paper aims at presenting some moments in the philosophical discussion about body. If it is really true that philosophy arises from the impulse to escape from the contingency and the limitations of the body, it is equally correct to find the recognition of the relevance of this subject in other moments of philosophical reflection. Based on a more contemporaneous perspective, Richard Shusterman s pragmatism, at the end of this text, it is suggested the possibility of conceiving body in a more organic and liberating way – more precisely, as taking part in the project of an aesthetics of existence.
