Optimized design of Carry Skip BCD adder using new FHNG reversible logic gatesKeywords: Reversible logic , Reversible gate , Carry skip BCD adder , Quantum computing , Quantum cost , nanotechnology based systems , IJCSI Abstract: Reversible logic is very essential for the construction of low power, low loss computational structures which are very essential for the construction of arithmetic circuits used in quantum computation, nanotechnology and other low power digital circuits. In the present paper an optimized and low quantum cost one digit carry skip BCD adder using new reversible logic gates are proposed. The proposed work is best compared to the other existing circuits.
