TEMPORAL DATA COMPRESSION IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK USING LZW

Wireless networks find maximum usage in present scenariodue to less overhead of establishment. But these networkshave constrained environment. Wireless networks havelimited processing capability, memory space and batterypower. These networks also have routing overheadinvolved with normal activities. The power required fortransferring data is much more than processing the data.Therefore, data compression techniques can be used to savethe power. Also it is good in reducing load onintermediately nodes. In this paper we have proposed aLZW data compression algorithm.
