Energy Efficient and Mobility Based Clustering for MANET

Mobile Ad Hoc network is a self-configure dynamic networkwhich consists of mobile nodes. MANET has some restrictionlike, limited battery power, limited bandwidth, mobility innature and frequent topology changes. These constrains makethe environment very challenging. To manage the mobilenodes entire network can be partitioned into clusters. Eachcluster has a head node which plays the leader role. The headnode consumes more battery power than the other nodes in thenetwork. The proposed work present an energy efficientmodel and a mobility model, which plays the primary role inelecting the suitable cluster head and also introduce a zonalbased energy consumption model which utilize the energy ofthe nodes in right way. The simulation result shows that theproposed work perform well than the existing algorithm.
