Temperature Prediction System Using Back propagation Neural Network :An Approch

This paper utilizes artificial neural networks fortemperature forecasting. Our study based on backpropagation neural network which is trained andtested based on dataset provided. In formulating theANN-based predictive model; three-layer networkhas been constructed. Suitable air temperaturepredictions can provide farmers and producers withvaluable information when they face decisionsregarding the use of mitigating technologies such asorchard heaters or irrigation. The researchpresented in this thesis developed artificial neuralnetworks models for the prediction of airtemperature. In this paper, back propagation neuralnetwork is used for temperature forecasting. Thetechnical milestones, that have been achieved by theresearchers in this field has been reviewed andpresented in this paper. From the past decades thereare various models are developed for weatherforecasting using artificial neural network, and byusing soft computing, which are discussed in thispaper. Artificial neural networks and the backpropagation algorithm used for temperatureforecasting in general are explained.
