Distances and Similarities of Saturated Computational Verbs

The distance and similarity between two computationalverbs are very important to many applications involvingthe comparison of computational verbs. For example, in computationalverb inferences, the similarities among computational verbsdecide the firing levels of computational verb rules. In this paper,the comprehensive definitions of verb distance and similarity weregiven based on the saturated evolving functions of computationalverbs. Collections of many ways of calculating verb distances andsimilarities were presented in order to make this paper a lookinguptable for finding verb distances and similarities. The distancesand similarities among computational verbs with different lifespans were constructed and proved to be valid computationalverb distances and computational verb similarities as defined.The effects of saturated functions on computational verb collapseswere studied in this paper.
