In the last years the world pharmaceutical market has been affected by a continuous of coalitions and acquisitions of companies inside the sector. They have taken advantage synergies of different types that have allowed to the companies to survive, in a sector highly competitive divided today in day in two big blocks of American companies and European companies, but with the appearance of new competitors in the Asian area. In this work he/she thinks about that the future of the world pharmaceutical industry will be in the concentration of the market for three big blocks: the American, the European and the Asian, each one of them dominated by small groups of companies.
