Abstract:

O abacaxizeiro ornamental Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. var. ananassoides (Baker) Coppens F. Leal., pertence à família Bromeliaceae e destaca-se pelo potencial ornamental ainda pouco explorado economicamente. A propaga o de plantas in vitro possibilita elevada produ o de mudas com qualidade fitossanitária. O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar as diferentes concentra es de 6-benzilaminopurina (BAP) e ácido naftaleno acético (ANA) na propaga o in vitro de Ananas comosus var. ananassoides. O delineamento utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 4x4, constituído de quatro concentra es de BAP (0; 0,5; 1,0 e 2,0 mg L-1) e quatro concentra es ANA (0; 0,25; 0,5 e 1,0 mg L-1). Concluiu-se que a adi o de 1,0 mg L-1 de BAP promoveu um maior número de brota es. O maior comprimento médio das brota es foi obtido na ausência de BAP e o maior número de raízes, na ausência de BAP e com 0,25 mg L-1 de ANA. The ornamental pineapple plant Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. var. ananassoides (Baker) Coppens F. Leal., belongs to the Bromeliaceae family, standing out for its ornamental potential, which is little explored economically. In vitro propagation allows a high production of pathogens-free plants. The objective of this work was to evaluate the different concentrations of 6-benzilaminopurine (BAP) and naphthalene acetic acid (ANA) in the process of in vitro propagation of Ananas comosus var. ananassoides. A completely randomized experimental design was used, with a 4 x 4 factorial scheme, consisting of four BAP concentrations (0; 0.5; 1.0 and 2.0 mg L-1) and four ANA concentrations (0; 0.25; 0.5 and 1.0 mg L-1). According to the results, the addition of 1.0 mg L-1 of BAP promoted the highest number of sprouts. The highest average sprout length was obtained in the absence of BAP and the highest root number was obtained with the addition of 0.25 mg L-1 of ANA, in the absence of BAP.
