Suppliche al Papa di Giacomo II, re di Maiorca e di Giacomo II, re di Aragona

All the Papal Petitions quoted here regard the relation between the Pope and the two Kings of Majorca and Aragon in an unstable period for the peace in Europe. They are the oldest known petitions so far, written in a new style comparing the usage of the Curia in that period, and they can be considered a new chapter in knowledge of the History of the Papal Diplomatics. Les requêtes présentées ici font référence à la relation du pape avec les rois de Majorque et d'Aragon pendant un période d'instabilité pour la paix en Europe. Dans la mesure où ce sont les plus anciennes retrouvées jusqu'à présent, et étant rédigés avec des formules nouvelles, par rapport à l'usage de la Curie Romaine, elles constituent un nouveau pas pour la connaissance de l'histoire de la diplomatique pontificale.
