UMA EXPERIêNCIA DE ORGANIZA O SOCIAL EM PROL DA REDE DE AGROINDúSTRIAS FAMILIARES: O CASO DA COOPERAC DE CONSTANTINA/RS (The experience of a social organization in support of family-owned agro-industries: the COOPERAC case in Constantina/RS)

This article aims to present the history and experience of social organization in favor of building a network of rural family agro-industry (AFR), in the city of Constantina/RS. This discussion is part of the dissertation, defended at the Graduate Program in Agricultural Extension and which had the issue of social impact assessment within the universe of AFR. We present here a strategy for the organization that has been built over 25 years and providing the socio-political bases for the creation of a central cooperative allied with progressive consolidation and expansion of family agro-industry in their ability to articulate production-processing-marketing circut short and long, and climb supporting public policies in municipal, state and federal.
