URBANIZA O DO SETOR SUDOESTE DE BOA VISTA-RR E IMPLICA ES AMBIENTAIS NA MICROBACIA IGARAPé GRANDE-PACA

This paper show, the negative effects of the urbanization disordered on the environment, in the city of Boa Vista capital of the Roraima state. The study area involves the Igarapé Grande micro basin, that integrates the Branco river basin, and the neighborhoods placed along its inclusion. Considering the inadequacy of the present urban growth, to the environmental balance, it is fundamental to identify the factors that contribute to the degradation of those environments and to question the performance of the powers that can restraint such practice. The most visible impacts inthe micro basin are represented by increase of the water’s pollution, obstruct of the channels, building occupation in margins, and in the channels streamlet, removal of ciliary’s forest, erosion and burned revealing a disordered urbanization, that infringes the existent legislation, and demonstrates fragile government intervention.
