Laboratory of instructional resources. Keywords: teaching of Anatomy , , medical training , ethical framework , models , biosimulators Abstract: Both the current legal and ethical requirements in health sciences education require educational institutions working in this field to constantly search for new resources, which meet such requirements, unless it results in a digression, alteration or decline in the quality of the objectives pursued. In light of this situation, the Laboratory of Instructional Resources - L.I.R. - (about which a brief history, current status and future prospects are presented here) has been erected with the specific objective of providing these educational materials within the current regulatory guidelines, for both classical medical education, and for training to perform invasive techniques. In order to achieve this, the L.I.R. works as a producer of models and special provisions that facilitate the teaching and learning of Anatomy, as well as working on the design and development of biosimulators for training in invasive techniques.
