O fen meno social das redes de informa o: reflex o teórica

[PORTUGUESE] As redes de informa o s o fen menos existentes na sociedade desde o século XVI quando se formavam grupos em portos, comércio, nos mosteiros ou universidades onde a informa o era difundida. Porém somente no final do século XX, com o advento tecnológico e prolifera o da informa o, estas redes se consolidaram através das chamadas redes sociais que est o construindo e re-construindo a estrutura social do século XXI. Desta forma este artigo mostra o surgimento e a evolu o das redes de informa o, enfocando a contribui o dos ‘letrados’, das universidades, da imprensa e do comércio na forma o das redes e prop e uma reflex o sobre esta dinamica informacional que rege a atual sociedade. [ENGLISH] This paper aims to reflect on the dynamics governing the informational society is based on historically in the emergence and development of information networks with a focus on the contribution of 'literate', academia, media and commerce in the formation of these networks. Information networks arephenomena that exist in society since the twelfth century when they formed groups in ports, trade, in monasteries or universities where information was disseminated.But only in the late twentieth century with the advent of technology and proliferation of information, these networks have been consolidated by so called social networks that are building and reconstructing the social structure of thecentury.
