Meningeal Sarcoma: a propose of one caseKeywords: Sarcoma , meninges , meningeal neoplasms Abstract: Meningeal sarcomas are intracerebral tumors that presentswith a really low frequency, and account for 3% of all primaryintracranial tumors. Due to their low frequency, there havebeen just few cases reported on the literature. They are fastgrowing tumors, present high recurrence and complicationsrates, and are associated with a broad specter of clinicalmanifestations and a terrible prognostic. Present a case of a 17years-old female patient, who had a frontal brain mass with aconsiderable size, demonstrated by imagenologic studies. TheHistopatological diagnosis revealed meningeal sarcoma wichwas infiltrating the white matter.
