Paciente masculino de 6 a os con el diagnóstico de pseudoartrosis del tercio distal de radio izquierdo, a quien se le realizó tratamiento quirúrgico: fijación externa e injerto óseo autólogo, con el objetivo de mostrar la aplicación del fijador monopolar RALCA, lo que brinda mayor estabilidad y evolución satisfactoria de esta complicación tan temida por los ortopédicos. Se obtuvo resultados satisfactorios, llegando a la conclusión de que esta aplicación técnica es sumamente útil y se encuentra al alcance de todos. A six-years-old male patient, diagnosed with pseudoarthrosis of the distal third of the left radius, treated surgically with external fixation and autologous bone grafting, with the objective of applying a monopolar fixer RALCA, to give more stability and guaranty the satisfactory evolution of a so feared by the orthopedists complication. We obtained satisfactory results, arriving to the conclusion that this technique application is very useful and at the reach for everybody.
