The Association of Bipolar Disorder and Neuro-Beh et SyndromeKeywords: Beh et’s disease , neuro-Beh et’s Syndrome , bipolar disorder , mania Abstract: The neurological involvement in Beh et’s disease (BD) known as neuro-Beh et’s syndrome (NBS) develop approximately in 5-15% of cases. Psychiatric symptoms in BD are an interesting issue for the researchers. In the reported studies the frequency of psychiatric symptoms such as depression and anxiety was estimated to be 8-50% during the course of BD, and psychosomatic symptoms could be seen simultaneously in 86% of patients. Despite the high rate of psychosomatic symptoms in BD, few cases of BD with bipolar disorder (BD) have been published in the literature. In this article, a case of NBS with BD is presented.
