VIOLENCE IN CIVIL LAW

Violence as a juridical institution hasbeen known ever since the Roman Law, beingcrystallized as a vice in Justinian’s age.It is also known in the old Romanian law and isregulated both in the current civil Code and in theassumed Civil Code and is defined as being thatconsent vice which consists in threatening a personwith an evil or a danger meant to cause a fear thatdetermines it to conclude a juridical deed that itwould not have concluded otherwise.
