ON YAGER’S PROBABILITY-POSSIBILITY TRANSFORMATIONS

In this article, our main intention is to discuss and comment on the existing probability-possibility consistency principles and thereby we would like to state that the works which are carried out with the help of these principles would yield unsatisfactory results. A new probability – possibility consistency principle is suggested herein and it is expected that this will produce the required appropriate connection between probability and possibility.
