HUMAN-INDUCED THREATS TO BIO-DIVERSITY IN NORTH-EAST INDIA WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO MAJULI

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the significance of the biodiversity potentialities and human induced threat to biodiversity in the world’s biggest river Island Majuli in Brahmaputra Valley and also to analyse the key conservation issues of biodiversity.
