FACTOR STRUCTURE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SPACE IN ATHLETES -MEMBERS OF NATIONAL TEAMS FROM DIFFERENT SPORTS IN MACEDONIA

The total number of respondents covered by the research is: 137 subjects male athletes- members of national teams from different sports in the Republic of Macedonia. The research applied a total of thirty-two variables, including: two variables for estimation of mail intellectual ability, three variables to assess the specific intellectual abilities, five variables to assess the emotional features, sixteen variables or personality traits according to Katel and six variables to assess motivational dispositions as follows: three variables to assess general achievement motive, and three variables to assess the motive of sports achievement. Based on the processing of factorical data analysis of common factors, it was determined that there is a specific psychological structure in athletes and players of national teams, extracting four factors.
