COMMUNICATION AMONG ACADEMIC COMMUNITY, LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT AND CIVIC INITIATIVES WITH THE PURPOSE OF ORGANIZING SWIMMING LESSONS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN NI

Exploring the phenomenon of communication requires the highest level of accuracy, precision and reliability of research findings, as well as communication rules applied in real life. Good communication is essential to the effectiveness of individuals, groups or organizations. Persons with disabilities, even as children should be integrated into all social life, and through physical activity. However, poor organization and communication was the reason of insufficient integration of people with disabilities in organized sports (including swimming) in the city of Ni . Such situation in the local community (that has a university), caused the formation of a swimming club for the disabled. With the expert help of foreign teachers, the desire to experience Ni of adapted aquatics organization is applied to the whole territory of Serbia and Association of Adapted Aquatics of Serbia was established. Positive communications academic community, local government and civic initiatives can be an example of good practice applicable in other areas.
