ISOLEMENT DES SOUCHES D’ACTINOMYCETES PRODUCTRICES DE NOUVELLES MOLECULES ANTIFONGIQUES

Twenty two strains of actinomycetes were isolated from four samples of Oubeira lake fresh waters of El Kala region (East of Algeria). The antifungal activity was tested against one filamentous fungus: Aspergillus niger (strain supplied by the mycology laboratory of IBN SINA hospital of Annaba). We have utilized two methods in order to study the antifungal activity: culture in liquid medium and double layer method by testing four different media: ISPI, ISPII, GYEA and Bennett.Among the twenty two isolates, only two strains showed an activity against the target strain. It concerns strains Act sp5 and Act sp10. The activity of strain Act sp5 was very important with an inhibition zone diameter equals at 60 mm on GYEA medium.
