Entre préoccupation esthétique et main stream : Heurs et malheurs du roman expérimental dans le récit du travail des années 1980 à nos jours

The model of the experimental novel proposed by Zola, after being heavily criticized throughout the 20th century, seems to make return with the beginning of the 21th, often at the cost of the stylistic search defended in the 1980s. Undoubtedly, the fiction becomes again a way to give an account of new working situations, including a parodic use, to denounce the way companies manipulate the narrative to legitimize their functioning. But this approach, more ironic than experimental, reflecte the mistrust against a committed literature, whose spirit seems today to have moved towards experimentation with new forms of consideration of the reader.
