Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Public Health in the Island of Ende, Central Flores, Indonesia

This research paper presents findings on knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of hygiene, sanitation, and water management in Ende Island (in 7 villages such as Aijeti, Rorurangga, Puutara, Paderape, Rendoraterua, Ndoriwoi, and Redodori). The paper asks why the public health problem persisted in the Ende Island? We found some of the underlying factors of persistent risk of diarrhoea were shaped by KAP of sanitation and water quality problems.
