Producció, difusió i divulgació de la ciència en català [Production, spread and popularisation of science in Catalan language]

Within the scope of a global linguistic focalisation, the author analyses in this contribution the production, spread and popularisation stages of science in Catalan language, starting from two principals: the linguistic subsidiarity and the exclusive functions. He also refers to the (corpus and status) planification and to the scientists’ linguistic formation and evaluation. Seven suggestions encouraging the use of scientific Catalan conclude this contribution.
