O fim do desenvolvimentoKeywords: Development , Brazil , Economic Policies , Market Society Abstract: Analytical essay criticizing the Brazilian self-assumedinternational posture as a “developing country”, it argues that Brazil has in fact completed its industrializing process and achieved, for the most, the basic tasks related to economic progress and technological development.Brazil shows a still incomplete social integration process, and was severely curtailed in achieving a full market economy; however, those endeavors do not depend on any additional success in the economic developmental path, but are basically linked to heavy investments in education.
