One of the consequences of an aging European society is that there will be fewer ac-tive workers and dependents, so it should be noted, firstly, the importance of workers not to re-tire early and on the other hand, the negative result that employment rates of workers aged 55 to 64 years represent not even 50%. Our goal is to demonstrate the benefit that would represent or the whole society to promote policies that stimulate the permanence in the workplace for older workers, for which we made a tour of European policies aimed at this purpose in recent years.
