L’article-feuilleton Generic and Literary Press Form: a New Genre and the Reflection of Social and Political Changes in Egyptian Periodicals (1892-1902) " / ": ' (1892 1902)

La forme n’étant pas uniquement un simple cadre de mise en texte, mais un élément du contrat communicationnel entre le journal (son idéologie et ses représentations) et son public (ici la Umma arabo-musulmane), nous examinerons comment certains écrivains-journalistes arabes du xixe siècle exploitèrent ces nouveaux genres entre discours de presse et récit narratif (fictionnel ou pas), en somme entre généricité journalistique et généricité littéraire. Nous tenterons ainsi de comprendre comment ils en firent usage et quel(s) r le(s) ces procédés génériques prirent au sein de la sphère socioprofessionnelle médiatique arabe d’alors. The shape not being just a part of formal text, but a communicative element of the contract between the newspaper (its ideology and representations) and its public (here the Arab-Islamic Ummah), we shall examine how some Arab writers-journalists of the 19th century have exploited these new kinds between press discourse and narrative story (fictional or not); in short, between generic and literary journalism. We shall try to understand how they made use of them and what role these generic proceedings took within the sphere of the then previous socio-professional Arab media.
