La Meteorologia a Ferrara dal XVIII al XX secolo

The meteorology is the science studying the physical phenomena responsible of the weather. The history of meteorology has endured in the centuries a long and laborious process; this discipline is considered a Science only in the XIX century. This study focuses on the researchers who made the history of meteorology in the University of Ferrara (Italy). The teaching, the researches, the effort for the development are reconstructed for the first time from archive documents, with references to the general history of meteorology. The article focuses the attention on the period between XVIII and XX century. This work is a continuation of a more extended research started a few years ago, and still in action, on the history of experimental physics in the University of Ferrara.
