Crystallization And Characterization Of Organic Ligand Thiourea Single Crystals

Thiourea single crystals have been grown from aqueous solution by slow evaporation technique. The solubility of thiourea with different temperatures was measured. When thiourea crystals were grown, two distinct morphologies of crystals were observed in the growth cell. The structural studies have been carried out using XRD techniques. The FTIR studies were carried out to identify the functional groups of the grown crystals. The elemental analysis for the samples was also performed.
