Metapograpssuss Latifrons a Violet-Crab of Devbag Mangrove Karwar,Karnatak West Coast of India.

The Metapograpssuss latifrons crab was collected from Devbag mangrove forest of karwar was recorded from October 2007 to July 2008. At monthly intervals. The species present on the substratum and on the Rhizophora vegetations .These are tree climbers.caught by forceps and scoop nets. Crabs belongings to the family Grapsidae is dominant in this devbag mangrove.
