El quiebre Institucional chileno de 1973. Una aproximación desde el derecho político

This article intends to bring into focus the Chilean institutional rupture of 1973 from the juridical concept of the “revolution” phenomenon worked out by Hans Kelsen.At the same time it also arises from the differences between destruction and suspension of the Constitution and between sovereign and commissarial dictatorships. Finally, it suggests the thesis that this institutional rupture is characterized as a revolutionary phenomenon which gave origin to a sovereign dictatorship starting from the destruction of the liberal Constitution of 1925.
