Los derechos de las ni as y ni os peruanos en Chile: La infancia como un nuevo actor migratorio

In this paper is to reflect on children’s participation and rights of girls and boys in the Peruvian migration of their families to Santiago de Chile. It is part of the double understanding political theory as “social actors” and “subjects of rights” in the daily practices at household, school, community and society in general. Considering the elements of the social context of the current migration to Chile, we analyze from childhood discourses the rights and exclusion from education, health, discrimination and family reunification.
