Hacer ciencia política en Chile y para Chile

The following document is a presentation made by PhD. Carlos Huneeus as his opening speech for the 1st Political Science Student Congress (2008). It is an analysis of the state of Political Science in the country, emphasizing the interest in the present time and in the work we must undertake. At the same time, professor Hunneus points out the singularities of our discipline to later analyze's the changes that the Chilean political system has experimented in the last twenty years. Finally, some conclusions are formulated for the development of Political Science in Chile and for Chile.
