A seguran a interna e o combate ao terrorismo: o caso português

Terror is -independently of the definition of terrorism- source of destruction ando f death. In front of terrorist attacks, carried out against innocents, are justified the anti-terrorist measures and laws to combat terrorism of exceptional nature. It is necessary and legitimate to implement juridical-legal means, assemble resources that allow to increase the security of State, to prevent, intercept, desactivate these attacks. Only this way it is possible to combat this scourge. On the other side, the increase and severity of this security measures are an immediate answer to this kind of attacks and it is precisely the need to preserve the rights, liberties and warranties of citizens, that justifies the creation/mobilization of security/defense structures to combat terror, in the name of imperativeness of assuring security to citizens, in the name of the right to live without fear and in freedom.
