Design of Observer and Observer-based Controller for a Class of Singularly Perturbed Discrete Bilinear SystemsKeywords: observer , bilinear systems , Singularly perturbed systems , observer-based controller , Lyapunov function Abstract: This study has presented two types of observer and observer-based controller for stabilization of singularly perturbed discrete bilinear systems. The first one is an e-dependent observer-based controller that stabilizes the closed-loop system for all ee (0, e*p) where, e*p is the prespecified upper bound of the singular perturbation parameter. The other one is an e-independent observer-based controller, which is able to stabilize the closed-loop system for all ee (0, emax) where, emax is the exact upper e-bound. The designs of observer and observer-based controller are suitable for the quasi-separation property. An example is exploited to illustrate the proposed schemes.
