The relationship of academic stress, depression, and self-efficacy with academic performance among high school students in IranKeywords: academic stress , depression , self-efficacy and academic performance Abstract: This study has investigated the relationship of academic stress, depression and self-efficacy with academic performance among high school boy students. Using a random stratified sampling technique, 120 students from three academic grades including 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade, were selected.The scale for assessing academic stress (Sinha, Sharma and Mahendra, 2001); children depression inventory (CDI, Kovacs, 1992); and general self-efficacy scale (GSE; Schwarzer& Jerusalem, 1995), were used for collecting the data.
