W hrend im ersten Teil des Buches vor allem die grundlegenden theoretischen Pr missen und deren Entwicklung vorgestellt werden, werden im zweiten Teil die konkreten Einzelma nahmen bewertet. Die Evaluation des zwischen 2003 und 2006 durchgeführten Best-Practice-Projekts gibt praxisorientierte Anregungen zur Implementierung von Gender Mainstreaming, wobei die theoretische Rahmung v. a. durch den Rückgriff auf systemtheoretische Begrifflichkeiten geboten wird.
