Actualización de la distribución y algunas consideraciones sistemáticas sobre el Yal Plomizo (Phrygilus unicolor) en la Argentina An update of the distribution and some systematic considerations of the Plumbeous Sierra-Finch (Phrygilus unicolor) in Argentina

Con el propósito de actualizar la sistemática del Yal Plomizo (Phrygilus unicolor) en la Argentina, fueron revisados 111 ejemplares. Como resultado de esta revisión se considera que la subespecie cyaneus deben ser incluida en la sinonimia de Phrygilus unicolor tucumanus. También se contribuye con nuevas localidades obtenidas de literatura, material de recolección y registros de observación, que permiten especificar el panorama de distribución de las diferentes subespecies en la Argentina. With the purpose of updating the systematic of the (Phrygilus unicolor) in Argentina, 111 specimens were studied. As result of this review we considered that the subspecies cyaneus must be regarded as a synonymy of tucumanus. Previously unpublished specimen material and sight records, together with a detailed literature review allowed us to better define the distributional panorama of the different subspecies in the Argentina.
