Abstract:

This paper proposes to discuss the representation of City in the book Passport (2001), by Fernando Bonassi, placing it in the context of globalization (BAUMAN, 1999). In these circumstances, their texts appear as a flaneur (BAUDELAIRE, 1988) which tries to capture the urban experience in the City, which no longer has borders. Therefore, the flaneirie bonassiana consists of visiting several "cities" in an attempt to capture any representation, following urban fragments, and traces left of the symptoms of capitalism throughout the globalized world. Considering their critical nature in the face of a post-utopian reality, it is hoped this research perceive the way the body expresses the expansion effects of late capitalism in post-modernity (JAMESON, 1997), taking into account their settings time and space.
