The “carioca funk” and the new feminist morality

We have analyzes two lyrics of the musical movement “carioca funk”, in order to check how the are manifested the moral values growing among women from the brasilian subs. The inquiry about lyrics of popular musical movements is justified because they are the most appropriate sources to evaluate the set of values and ideas of the proletarian classes, within which it is assumed to establish any kind of criticism of the tradicional bourgeois values. In fact, it is observed that both the lyrics analyzed betray aspects of a new sexual morality, but only one manifest a reversal of tradicional values in favor of the new woman announced by russian feminist ideologue and revolutionary leader Alexandra Kolontai (2000).
