Complete noun phrases. The mark of transitiveness in the Shanenawa language (Panoan Family)Keywords: Linguistics , Linguistic Typology , Brazilian Native Languages , Shanenawa Language , Grammar Abstract: In this article we describe how the marks of surface structure clauses in a Brazilian indigenous language of the Pano family distinguish the noun as the subject of a transitive and intransitive verb and as a direct object. This description is based on a comparison among the Shanenawa language and other languages of the same family with the support of the gramatical forms of Proto-Pano.
