El presente artículo busca profundizar y poner en evidencia la relación que se establece y determina en el emplazamiento de un santuario griego en un particular entorno natural, para lo cual se centra en tres puntos principales: el genius loci, el antecedente mítico-histórico y el buscado contraste entre las formas arquitectónicas y las naturales. This essay seeks to characterize the relationship between several factors involved in the settlement of a Greek sanctuary in a specific natural environment. The paper will focus on three main aspects of the sanctuary: the genius loci, the historical and mythical precedents, and the intentional contrast among the architectural and the natural forms.
