Abstract: Realization of the governmental program on deepening of delta of the riv-er of Volga will require a significant amount of dredgers. This problem will be solved not only by means of purchase of new and expensive dredgers (such as Beaver 1700 ), but also by means of modernization of dredger complexes designed 30–40 years ago ("Volga", "Engineer Agashin", etc.). The important problem of modernization of a technological dredge complex is concerned with an automation of the electric drives, providing a mode of maximum shell productivity. So, electric drives of walking spuds should be made so that depending on hardness of the developed ground the speed of ripper supply changed respec-tively. It is offered to carry out introduction of automated control systems of technological process (ACS TP) of bottom-deepening on the basis of neural and fuzzy calculation. The structural and functional schemes of ACS TP of bot-tom-deepening are given. The algorithm of the control system operation by elec-tric drives of basic elements of dredger is performed. It will be a basis for the de-velopment of the software of the controller on the basis of neural networks, which is a basic element of the automated control system of bottom-deepening complex.
