Diagnosis of the technical state of diesel engines on the parameters of the operation process

The possibility of diagnosing marine diesel engines on their thermo-technical parameters is ana-lysed in the paper. It is offered to use the method of numerical simulation based on a mathematical model of the operation process of marine combustion engines, developed at the Department "Ship Energy Installations" in Baltic State Academy of Fishing Fleet in order to obtain a set of control values of monitored parameters, taking into account the influence of external factors. Specific regression dependences on the chosen engine are shown as an example demonstrating the proposed approach.
