One of the new directions of the development of shipbuilding technologies is to improve the accuracy of fabrication and installation of hull structures. A significant increase in measurements accuracy can be obtained with the use of advanced optical and laser devices. One of these devices is a tacheometer. The presence of a computing and storage devices enables you to store the measured and design data, to calculate the coordinates of the points that are inaccessible to direct measurements from indirect observations. The given tacheometers have been successfully implemented in shipbuilding factories.
