Modeling of thermodynamic cycle of work of solar power adsorption thermotransforme

Abstract:

The application of thermodynamic models for the study of solar power periodical thermotransformer is considered. The model is formulated on the basis of thermotransformer’s cycle analysis in Clapeyron diagram. In compiling the algorithm of the program mathematical programming in MathCAD was used. The calculated characteristic of the efficiency of solar power thermotransformer operating at working couples activated carbon – ethanol and activated carbon – methanol are represented. Also the characteristics of various adsorbates and adsorbents are examined. On the basis of physical and chemical characteristics of the working substances the capability of their effective use in various solar power thermotransformers is predicted.
